Once you’ve unlocked the underwater dash ability – which you’ll get while in Luma Pools – you can remove the starfish simply by dashing into them. You can lure enemy projectiles to do the same by dashing out of the way at the last minute. Projectiles activated on land can travel through water, so you’ll need to carefully line up your own projectile so it’ll go up into the air and arc down into the water, making contact with the starfish as it does. What you need to use are projectiles – either your own (if you’ve unlocked the ability), or another enemy’s.
